Send Anonymous Mails!

Ever thought of a mischievous act like sending a mail with  a fake identity or using someone else's identity?? Sure, if you have that naughty prankster hidden in you! So there are ACTUALLY two common sites which may help you in such pranks.. They are... 1: http://www.sendanonymousemail.net/ Its got a pretty easy and user-friendly interface which makes it so special.. 2:   https://emkei.cz/ It can be considered as the advanced version for sending fake mails.. Its got a good variety of options for "geeks" as well as an html editor for cutomizing the mails! But Do Remember that  these tools would let you   send anonymous emails   free of cost   and let you be  hidden   at the same time, but they Do store your IP addresses, just in case your anonymous email indulges in illegal activities! So, Do NOT even try to send scary threats or spam like messages because you may get caught very easily and can be charged with fraudulent charges and can be pu

Download Youtube videos right from your Terminal or Command Prompt

I am sure that everyone of you had a moment in your life where you googled for "Download YouTube Videos" and may have got yourself victimized by some trials which become a pain when they start "requesting" for money. Right? Here I am referring a nice and easy tool to download those videos - youtube-dl. Its an open source tool with a very good team at support at their IRC server. First download youtube-dl: sudo apt-get install youtube-dl OR download the .exe counterpart for windows from  http://rg3.github.io/youtube-dl/ Then go to YouTube and grab the address of the video that you want. Once copied, type this in terminal or cmd to start downloading: youtube-dl  (paste the address here) Example: youtube-dl  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbC12Aetc After it's finished downloading, check your Home folder, it should be there. The file name is usually the same as the address i.e. V2y92H2kiIM.mp4 By adding the -f option after the link in terminal or

R.I.P Orkut!

Does anyone remember the social networking giant of a time "Orkut"? Perhaps not many.. Though it was the most visited site in India and Brazil at a point of time in history but gradually it lost its shine to other competitive sites and web applications offering much newer and advanced features like our very own facebook.com, twitter.com etc. Bad news for its fans and those few who still use it to send and receive scraps.. that Google - the owner of orkut.com has today announced that it will be shutting the service down. Google Engineering Director Paulo Golgher wrote in a post on the Orkut blog. "Because the growth of these communities has outpaced Orkut's growth, we've decided to bid Orkut farewell (or, tchau). We'll be focusing our energy and resources on making these other social platforms as amazing as possible for everyone who uses them." Beginning today, it will no longer be possible to create a new Orkut account. Current Orkut users will be able

Connect 2 Computers using USB to USB cable

A very easy way to connect two PCs is to use a USB-USB cable. By connecting two PCs with a cable like this, you can transfer files from one PC to another, and even build a small network and share your Internet connection with a second PC. The first thing you should be aware of is that there are several different kinds of USB-USB cables on the market. The one used to connect two PCs is called “bridged” (or “USB networking cable”), because it has a small electronic circuit in the middle allowing the two PCs to talk to each other. Cable without a bridge connector are called A/A USB cables and cannot be used to connect two PCs. In fact, if you use an A/A USB cable, you can burn the USB ports of your computers or even their power supplies . So, these A/A USB cables are completely useless. A/B USB cables are used to connect your computer to peripherals such as printers and scanners, so they also won’t meet your needs. As for speed, the bridge chip can be USB 2.0 (480 Mbps). The stand

Reportedly new images have surfaced online that allegedly show the iPhone 6, iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3 models with an embedded circular home button; reminiscent to the one found on the iPhone 5s. The image leak comes from Taiwanese reseller Apple Club. The leaked image shows the alleged iPhone 6 placed on top of the rumored iPad mini 3, while the purported iPad Air 2 can be seen placed at the bottom. The leaked image shows that the next iPhone will have the power button on the right panel of the device, instead of the top panel as seen on the current iPhone models. Do You Have What It takes to be a Googler?

If you're trying to get hired at Google, don't bother bragging about your GPA or marks. Laszlo Bock, Google's senior vice president of people operations, told the New York Times that the company looks far beyond grades (Google is actually hiring more and more people that never went to college).  What does it take to impress a Googler and rather be one? Bock says that the number one thing that the company looks for is not I.Q. but learning ability. Candidates need to be able to process things "on the fly" and draw conclusions from seemingly unconnected info. They also need to be "emergent" leaders. Google isn't necessarily looking for the president of the chess club. It's looking for people who know when to lead and when to follow.  " What’s critical to be an effective leader in this environment is you have to be willing to relinquish power," he says.  Humility and ownership are two other big pieces of the puzzle. Bock wants

Remove 'Shortcut Virus' and 'Automatically creating undeleteable Folder Virus' Without any anti-virus

Being a hosteler I can understand how capable is a computer virus in spreading like a plague in a society. Many people who do not have a deep knowledge about working of a computer feel helpless in front of such viruses even after having some paid anti-virus softwares. Its time that we take matter into our own hands.. Open task manager as administrator. To do this you can open command prompt as admin by typing 'cmd' at the start menu and then right click and choose 'Run as Admin' and type taskmgr and press enter. Go to processes tab and find a process ' wscript.exe '. It is a process which execute the scipts on your windows computer. Its presence shows that a script is running on your computer. To delete a shortcut virus you need to end this wscript.exe process.  Now go to My computer or windows explorer and click organize on top left corner, Go to folder options and then View tab, and click on 'Show hidden files' and UNCHECK 'hide protecte

Know what's slowing down your PC

Plenty of you would know how to see the computer resources (By resources I mean network bandwidth, Memory, CPU etc.) being used by different applications and close or open any application using task manager on windows 7. But for those who don't, Right click on the taskbar at the bottom of your screen and click 'Start Task Manager'. Click on the performance tab from the top and then click the button named 'Resource Monitor'. A new window will be opened and it will show the different resources being used by different applications and the amount of the resource being used by them. It is mostly helpful to identify virus or worthless resource eating apps of your computer which may slow down your internet speeds or speed of your PC. To close an app simply right click the app and click 'End Process' or 'End Process tree' to kill all its sub-processes as well.
